SFMQG strives to organize regular workshops and events for our members and guests to learn more about modern quilting, and to enjoy working on quilts together.  We also have regular monthly meetings.

Saturday October 3rd, 2015
Workshop Description:

Explore a gentle introduction to improv quilts using traditional nine patch blocks. We'll be using variations of the churn dash and monkey wrench patterns and "making it modern" using improv techniques. Participants will complete blocks for a 36 x 48 mini quilt during the mini workshop.

Based on TeresaDownUnder's Semi-improv 9-patch quilt tutorial.
